Microsoft Office Certification

Program Description
The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) program is the only comprehensive, performance-based certification program approved by Microsoft Corporation to validate desktop computer skills using the Microsoft Office 2003 programs. Students who successfully master the material and achieve certification will be a step ahead of their peers in the competitive job market. By developing advanced skills with Microsoft business desktop software, students will meet the demand for qualified, knowledgeable people in the workplace.

Instructional Topics:
  • Document design and layout
  • Creating, printing and editing documents, spreadsheets and presentations
  • Creating and editing tables
  • Performing queries and filtering records
  • Adding visual elements to documents, presentations and spreadsheets
  • Inserting formulas in a worksheet and creating a database table
  • Linking embedding objects and files

Program Prerequisites

Students must have completed the 10th grade of high school and have a minimum of 2.00 GPA

$30,000-$42,000
