The Graphic Web Design program is for those students who are interested in creating graphic and/or Web designs. Students will be introduced to concepts and applications required for the "Information Age" and gain hands-on experience in graphic design fundamentals and Web page creation. To enhance their own sites, students will add interactive streaming video, animatin, audio, vector graphics and bitmap graphics to their individual Web sites.

• Web page and Website design and layout

• Effective use of space, color and animation

• Use of Web page development tools using Macromedia MX 2004 Suite

• Use of typography and graphics in a Web page

• Following Web design standards and guidelines

• The use of Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML) to create a Web page
